Project focused on developing the positioning strategy for a new planned neighborhood in the historic city of Paraty. The site is located in a highly privileged area at the entrance to the city. For this reason, it was essential that the new neighborhood be closely integrated with both the perceived “functional city” and the recognized “historic city.” To achieve this, it was necessary to gain a deep understanding of how this cultural heritage could be reflected in the new neighborhood, which, once developed, would become the city’s gateway and first impression for visitors.
